2014 Sing Along

CUAAV organised a ‘Song and Hopper Night, on Saturday 05 April 2014 at the Noble Park Community Centre, Ross Reserve, Memorial Drive, Noble Park VIC 3174.

In spite of the very busy Melbourne Events Calendar, more than 250 past students, staff, families & friends of the University of Colombo enjoyed a scrumptious Hopper & Curry meal provided by ‘Curry Go’ Catering.

The music of Nalaka, Rohitha, Asanka, Rasanga & Wasana was complemented by our own Jayasri Chandrajith who is one of Sri Lanka’s top Sinhala music and drama artists.  A number other Colombo graduates and guest artist including Priyantha, Angelo, Sumudu, Sisira, Padma and Danushka kept the audience entertained well into the night.

While the primary objective of the event was to bring members, families and friends of together at a nominal cost, all proceeds from the event will be directed to the CUAAV Scholarship program.

Once again, the support and feedback received from our guests was also much appreciated.
