Good Shepherd Parish Hall
CUAAV organised ‘Sinduwak Samaga Koththuwak’, an evening of entertainment on Friday 15th March 2013 at the Good Shepherd Parish Hall, 30 Academy Avenue, Wheelers Hill 3150. A large number of past students, staff, families & friends of the University of Colombo enjoyed a memorable evening, where many old friendships were renewed and new ones made.
The great music provided by Cameron, Nakala, Rohitha, Rohana, Pushpa & Co was complemented by our own musically talented graduates Asanga, Priyantha, Angelo and Rupert. A highlight of the evening was the performance our special guest and Colombo Uni graduate, Jayasri Chandrajith who is one of Sri Lanka’s top artists in Sinhala music and drama. Jayasri kept us entertained late into the night with a great combination of songs.
Though organised at very short notice, the event was a resounding success with all tickets being sold-out. A number of our graduates also joined CUAAV on the day, further strengthening the organisation.
The support and feedback received from our guests was also much appreciated.
